1. Organization
The Depor Pool is a free promotional game organized by Creedence Rock Bar (Creedence Rock Bar by 21, S.L., CIF B70580790), located at Manuel Murguía 32, A Coruña. Participation does not involve any type of betting or financial outlay.
2. Who can participate
Any person over 18 years old who registers on the platform may participate. Registration is free and requires:
- A unique nickname (will be the visible name in the rankings).
- A valid email address.
- A password.
- Date of birth, to verify the age of majority.
Express acceptance of these rules is mandatory when creating the account. The organization reserves the right to cancel accounts that provide false or incorrect data, particularly those proven to belong to minors.
Each person may have only one account. Detection of duplicate accounts will result in cancellation and loss of associated prizes.
The organization maintains its own technical account, identified with the nickname CREEDENCE NO PARTICIPA, used for platform testing. Its predictions appear in public listings to verify the site works correctly, but it does not compete in rankings nor qualifies for prizes.
3. Matches included in the pool
Official matches of Real Club Deportivo A Coruña in the following competitions are included:
- League (the category the club plays that season).
- King's Cup.
- Officially confirmed friendly matches, including preseason.
Other competitions or unofficial matches are excluded.
4. Prediction rules
For each match, each participant may submit one prediction only (Depor goals and rival goals). This prediction may be modified as many times as desired until voting closes.
Several users may predict exactly the same score; there is no exclusivity.
5. Voting opening and closing
- Voting opens 72 hours before the official match start.
- Voting closes 10 minutes before kickoff.
After closing, it will not be possible to create or modify predictions, without exceptions. Deadlines are calculated based on the official start time announced by the club or competent organization; if this time changes, deadlines adjust automatically.
6. Scoring system
- Exact score: 1 point.
- Any other result: 0 points.
There are no partial points or bonuses for getting only the winner right. Only the result after the 90 regulation minutes counts (plus regulation added time). Extra time, penalties or any subsequent modification are not considered for pool purposes.
Additionally, the platform keeps an informative counter of correct Depor goals (times you correctly guess the goals scored by Depor even if you miss the rival's). This counter does not add points to the ranking: it is used only as a tiebreaker (see section 8).
7. Rankings
There are two independent rankings running in parallel:
- Monthly: counts the correct predictions from matches played within that calendar month. Resets on the 1st of each month.
- Season overall: accumulates all correct predictions from the first official match of the season to the last.
8. Tiebreakers
Ties are resolved in this order:
- Highest number of exact score hits.
- Highest number of predictions made in the corresponding period (monthly or seasonal). With the same number of hits, priority is given to whoever predicted the most matches.
- Highest number of correct Depor goals — counted when you correctly guess how many goals Depor scored in a match, even if you miss the rival's goals. This data is informative and does not add points, it only serves as tiebreaker.
- Highest average anticipation when placing the prediction. Calculated as the average hours between the last modification of each prediction and the match start. Modifying a prediction resets this counter, so changing your mind at the last moment penalizes in tiebreakers.
- Earliest pool registration.
9. Prizes
The organization rewards winners with bar products:
- 🍺🍺 Monthly winner: 2 Estrella Galicia beers.
- 🍺🛢️ Season winner: 30-liter Estrella Galicia keg.
Prizes are automatically generated when the month (or season) closes and become available in the winner's profile, together with a unique QR code that allows redemption at the bar.
How to redeem a prize
- The winner accesses their profile on the web and shows the QR code to bar staff.
- Staff scan the QR and validate the redemption by entering the internal establishment PIN.
- Once redeemed, the prize is marked as "collected" and cannot be redeemed again.
Each redemption is recorded with date, time, IP and browser to prevent fraud, and is audited internally by the organization.
Prize expiration
Prizes have an expiration of 30 days from their assignment. After this period without redemption, they are marked as expired and cannot be claimed. The organization, at its discretion, may occasionally reactivate an expired prize for justified reasons.
Nature of prizes
Prizes are personal and non-transferable, must be redeemed in person at the bar, and in no case can be exchanged for their cash value. They can only be redeemed by persons over 18 years of age, as they consist of alcoholic beverages.
10. Official results and corrections
Official results at the end of regulation time are used. If a subsequent official correction occurs (e.g., a change to the match record), the organization will update the result and the system will automatically recalculate hits, monthly ranking and overall ranking.
11. Fair play
All predictions are recorded with their creation date and time and each modification. The organization periodically reviews the records and may:
- Withdraw specific predictions in case of manipulation indications.
- Cancel accounts using multiple identities, false data, or any method that alters game results.
- Void prizes associated with irregular behaviors.
12. Pool administration
The organization may, when necessary:
- Add, modify or delete matches from the calendar.
- Update results and recalculate rankings.
- Void, reactivate, or modify the expiration of specific prizes.
- Regenerate tokens (QR codes) of a prize if the user loses them or there is suspicion of compromise.
- Reset the bar redemption PIN when deemed appropriate.
13. Personal data
The data recorded for each participant is: nickname, email, encrypted password, date of birth, registration date and last access date. Each prediction records its date and time. Each prize redemption attempt records the IP and browser used, exclusively for fraud prevention.
The data is processed by Creedence Rock Bar by 21, S.L. as controller, with the sole purpose of managing the Depor Pool. They are not transferred to third parties except by legal obligation, and rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation and portability may be exercised by writing to the bar's contact address. The winner accepts that their nickname (not their real name) may appear published in the public ranking, on the bar TV and on the establishment's social networks in connection with the prize delivery.
14. Responsible consumption
The prizes of this pool contain alcoholic beverages. Creedence Rock Bar expressly recommends moderate and responsible consumption, and in no case may the prizes be given to minors.
15. Modification of the rules
The organization may modify these rules to correct errors, clarify doubtful points, adapt to changes in the sports calendar or improve the operation of the game. Any modification will be published on this same page with the updated date at the beginning of the document.
16. Acceptance
Participation in the Depor Pool implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules, the privacy policy and the site's legal notice.
